It is vital to know whether our programs are making a difference to children and families at Doveton College.

So we evaluate our programs and report this information in regular updates to our community.

By measuring our progress, we ensure that every success or setback teaches us how to do things better.

To do this we will:

  • Develop and make available on our website a monthly data dashboard of performance indicators to measure our progress. The performance indicators may include enrolment and attendance data, prep entry data, student data from NAPLAN and the Australian Early Development Index and other relevant information.
  • Partner with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and the internationally acclaimed University of Ontario’s Toronto First Duty Model research team to establish an independent evaluation of immediate and longer-term outcomes at Doveton. The five-year evaluation project will operate until the end of 2017 tracking the progress of Doveton College’s children and families.
  • Publish other progress reports to parents and the wider community
